This charming hotel a few minutes above Cannes town centre has real character and flair. The owner, who welcomed me at reception and served me my apéritif upon arrival also designed each room individually and has taken great care to give her hotel a personal atmosphere, with a library, literary quotes in the hall and stairwell, and a gorgeous garden. For dinner, I followed her recommendation for a seafood restaurant by the harbour and while they were at first reluctant to fit me into their fully-booked terrace, her name proved to be the magic word and suddenly a table was found... – Highly recommended.

Among all the hotels from La Croisette, the GD Albion the more elegant, discret, the best location, the wonderful staff as Florian , real gentleman. Even in such a busy time than a festival in july, every body id attentive and clever.

Villa is run by a lovely family, very friendly and attentive to details, clean and comfortable room. There's a great pool and with a few people around you can literally have it for yourself after a long working day.

Everything was fantastic. We arrived in a terrific thunderstorm,and unfortunately the wind had blown the window in the room open and the floor was wet. We phoned down to reception, and within minutes we were given access to another room, which in fact was an upgrade. No extra charge was made and our 2 nights at the SPLENDID was absolutely superb. It is a small hotel, where you are greeted with attention; it has a home atmosphere (and even the dog, a very friendly ine); the hotel has closed gates and entrance diors; rooms are ney renovated; supercomforable bed; large window ( in my room); the outside terace to relax; proximity to the main tourist shopping street ( 5 min); train station ( 5 mi); beach 15 min max.
