Interesting review:
Staff really work hard to make your stay special. Really extensive breakfast of fruit, juice, toast with butter cheese or jam, followed by bacon and eggs as you please. The hotel it 4 km from the town centre and the river, but staff are always on hand to give you a tuk tuk ride to wherever you wish to go at very reasonable rates. £1 each way into town. However, the restaurant good is so good that we ate in every night for our four night stay. Alcoholic drinks are a reasonable price also. Beautiful well kept garden and large swimming pool with sunbeds with mattresses. We loved it here, and preferred a small hotel to the large characterless options on Paradise Island up the road. A real Sri Lankan experience.

The staff was so nice! They let us in the room very early in the morning for no additional fee. Jaika helped a lot through the covid procedures which was super appreciated. The restaurant staff prepared breakfast for us even though we completely missed the time slot (difficult jetlag 😅). The gardener was always super quick to prepare the sunbeds for us when we would come out of the room. Also beautiful sunset from the swimming pool/beach!
