Everything was perfect. Room was big enough and very clean! Room cleaning was daily, thanks for that! The breakfast was good too! Very nice and helpful owner of the villa and his staff! We were with a child and we had a very late flight and the owner allowed us to use the room longer, because of this we had a great long day at the beautiful beach and the opportunity to wash ourselves before a long flight. If I go to Sri-Lanka again, I would definitely stay at this villa.

Spectacular location and an awesome host. The host took great care of us and made sure our stay remains memorable. They were very attentive and proactive with their services. A really good Level 1 hotel. The staff was very nice, direct beach access and a la carte restaurant prices where good. Every night they have different entertainment. The pools are clean and its in a very quiet area.

Very nice location close to the river and peaceful and quite area, so you can enjoy night sounds and morning sounds from temple nearby. Lal is super friendly and helpful - met us with cold towel and glass of fresh juice. Room is super clean with nice view to the garden, AC is available all time. Also is very cool small private kitchen so you can without problem cook and have coffe/ tea anytime . He allowed even stay longer and wait for our transfer to Kandy! Thank you so much!❤️ I enjoyed my staying here and 100% recommend that place for everyone who travel here!

We liked the beauty of the location and the hospitality of Lana and her team. Lana was an excellent hostess and made us feel very welcome and well looked after. Nothing was too much for her. The breakfast was excellent and the meals in the evenings as well. The room was very spacious with a beautiful sea view. We loved every minute of our 7 day stay and would love to come back one day. This is honestly such a fantastic place. You have the benefit of walking to the sea within 10 minutes or simply making use of the swimming pool on your doorstep which is kept exceptionally clean. The gardens of Kurumba are beautiful, attracting lots of wildlife to create a serene setting. The beds were very comfy and the accomodation is very spacious with all you’d need. The breakfasts were delicious too. Above all the staff were so attentive and friendly, always willing to go that little bit further to ensure you have everything you need. Thank you to all the staff at Kurumba Villas!

Staff really work hard to make your stay special. Really extensive breakfast of fruit, juice, toast with butter cheese or jam, followed by bacon and eggs as you please. The hotel it 4 km from the town centre and the river, but staff are always on hand to give you a tuk tuk ride to wherever you wish to go at very reasonable rates. £1 each way into town. However, the restaurant good is so good that we ate in every night for our four night stay. Alcoholic drinks are a reasonable price also. Beautiful well kept garden and large swimming pool with sunbeds with mattresses. We loved it here, and preferred a small hotel to the large characterless options on Paradise Island up the road. A real Sri Lankan experience.
