One of the best places we stayed in Sri Lanka. The room was so big, cleaned everyday and comfortable. The location was perfect, only 10 minute walk to the beach and restaurants. The staff were very welcoming and helped with all our requests. We initially booked for 2 nights at L&D, but we loved it that much that we extended our stay here for an extra 2 nights. It’s 100% a must stay for those wanting to visit Hikkaduwa and have a relaxing stay. Big thanks again to Ranga for a fabulous end to our trip.

Very nice location close to the river and peaceful and quite area, so you can enjoy night sounds and morning sounds from temple nearby. Lal is super friendly and helpful - met us with cold towel and glass of fresh juice. Room is super clean with nice view to the garden, AC is available all time. Also is very cool small private kitchen so you can without problem cook and have coffe/ tea anytime . He allowed even stay longer and wait for our transfer to Kandy! Thank you so much!❤️ I enjoyed my staying here and 100% recommend that place for everyone who travel here!

Very Clean and modern House, almost Like a small Villa with balcony, a Garden and a Pool. The owner ist a very lovely, Kind Lady who helps you with anything you might Need. She makes you breakfast also! The House ist located in a quiet neighbourhood, you only hear the birds. There are Lots of animals around the House to watch :) beach (the golden Mile) is in Walking distance and the next Supermarkt also.

Emildale Villa

It is a peaceful area with the nicest and loneliest beach we have seen during our trip to Sri Lanka. Don and his wife are so friendly hosts. Don took us to Unawalawe national park so we could do an amazing safari. Furthermore he organized a boat for seeing birds at the lagune. The rooms are very new as Don opened them last year. Breakfast was delicous. Bed was verycomfortable. All in all we enjoyed our stay a lot. Thank you very much Don!

Great Value for money, the staff were really friendly and helpful and the bed was really comfortable. Breakfast was really nice, fresh fruits, toast, eggs and also Sri Lankan breakfast available. They also did some laundry for us and it was very quick and a great price. The pool area/breakfast area is nice with trees and plants all around, very private.
