The facilities of this hotel are excellent. The management and staff are courteous, friendly and clearly well trained. The swimming pool area forms a wonderful centerpiece to the resort and is well maintained and serviced by the staff. The resort has been integrated well with its natural surroundings with an abundance of birds and other small animals to be seen throughout the property. The property is ideally situated in close walking distance to the main beach, as well as many local shops, restaurants and bars. Our Deluxe Sea View King Bed Room was well appointed, however this could be expected given the rate charged.

From the moment we stepped into this tasteful, artful, yet super relaxed property that felt like home, our every need was taken care of so exceptionally. We loved our stay, the very srilankan touches, from the bath products to the delicious home made food & ofcourse the beautiful furnishings. As for the beach.. It was amazing and the sunsets and sunrises phenomenal. Our weekend away felt like a week and we left totally refreshed, thanx really to Ashanti the matriarch of wonders and her family like team. Now just looking forward to returning.

This is the third Asia Leisure property we visited and we had high hopes by the bar set high by their sister properties. Although the overall experience was ok we believe that there is room for improvement (pun intended) in many areas Comfy beds, great shower and outdoor tub in the balcony were the highlights. Beachfront property and the beach was clean and good for a casual swim. The swimming pool was fairly big and had sun beds and fresh beach towels for guests. Polite and friendly staff. Good breakfast buffet with a nice spread and variety.

From the time we arrived at this wonderful destination we were greeted with broad smiles and warm welcomes. We spent 17 days at this hotel. The hotel is extremely well designed. The territory is outstandingly nice. Sunsets were the best! It is a great and very calm place (just a few rooms). Breakfast, dinner everything was very tasty. The staff is very helpful. If you are asking for something, you can be sure that it will be done! Beach is very clean and beautiful. It is not crowded with tourists like in Bentota. Highly recommend!

Probably the best hotel we have ever stayed in. It is not only stunningly beautiful and offers excellent food, the most important is the attention to detail of the whole staff. Just one example of the great service was when my husband told a waiter that he would like more vegetarian choices. 15 minutes later the owner of the hotel, who happened to spend the weekend there, discussed jackfruit with us. Jackfruit is not in season, but he went to the local market himself to try to get it anyway, and then asked his driver - who was on the way to the hotel - to buy jackfruit from Colombo so my husband could have it for lunch. These little acts of attention kept coming throughout our stay and we felt like VIP guests. The sea is too rough to swim in, but the pool was great and the views of the sea (from all rooms) were breathtaking. We had full board and gained probably a couple of kilos during the last four days. Amazing breakfast and 4-course meals for lunch and dinner and we could not say no to anything... They also have a Japanese restaurant and the chef gave us some sushi to taste - absolutely excellent! We will definitely be coming back!

We booked this villa with no reviews and were slightly skeptical as to whether or not this place was going to offer what it promised. Upon arrival, we were absolutely blown away by the beautiful architecture and furniture that filled this modern and seamless villa. We were greeted by the friendly staff with smoothies and a refreshing cold flannel, whereupon they set up our room and informed us of our lovely upgrade to the master suite. Due to the recent opening of the villa, word hadn’t quite got out about this place and we were incredibly lucky to have the place to ourselves for three nights. It was a beautiful and serene place to spend our holiday, waited on hand and foot, trips and taxis organised for us, and some of the most delicious seafood we had ever had. Breakfast was included and lunch and dinner cost approx £7 each plate. We bought our own spirits as they were unable to provide these but they made these up for us whenever we wanted. Cheap beer, wine, soft drinks, coffee and tea were all available for purchase. The rooms were spacious and cleaned twice daily. The beds were extremely comfy + they had mosquito nets. The views are breathtaking and it only takes 30 seconds to walk to the beautiful and (barely) untouched beach. There isn’t much else around within walking distance, (which we loved) so taxis are really the only way to get around. I would like to emphasise how attentive, professional and friendly the staff were, nothing was too much trouble and they really did go above and beyond what we would expect from staff. We shall be coming back next year with a party of 12, so we can have the villa again to ourselves! Thanks, James & Ruby

One of the most incredibly large infinity pools with stunning views of ocean & miles of undeveloped golden beaches. The spa is tastefully appointed & in harmony with the environment; all treatments outdoors. The dining rooms brings exteriors inside with more breathtaking ocean & sunset views. Delicious food by a significantly well trained kitchen team & very courteous wait staff. I look forward to my return visit.

Lovely breakfast by the pool. Our room and the balcony was beautiful! Large, clean and with nice furniture. There was tea and coffee in the room. Comfortable beds. Great location about 1 km from the city. Several beach restaurants within 10 mins walking. The pool-area was serene. It felt a little as though we were in a little private jungle, but the beach (beautiful and great for swimming and sunbathing) was just two steps away. Will def come back if ever in Hikkaduwa again.

We were blown away on our family holiday here for 11 days over Christmas. Fernando and his staff could not do enough for us, their cooking was incredible and the property is stunning and clean. Beautiful Bentota beach is less than 10 min walk over the bridge. And Suranga (who is half way across the bridge on the floating pavilion) would pick us up from our jetty in his boat any time and take us to restaurants (Pier 88 was great), jet skiing and river safari. Highly recommended for a group stay!!
