Interesting review:
The hotel is a bit far from the old city. You need to take a taxi to get around or walk for about 1 hour. But it's very worth it for everything else! When we arrived we were very well received by the very friendly Olivera and Kristina. Then we were taken to the terrace for a welcome cocktail and the sunset view was simply stunning! All the staff was very helpful throughout our stay. Our room with a view of the bay was absolutely clean and comfortable. Jovana, who was in charge of the tours, was extremely efficient in arranging the boat trip and car rental for us. The private beach in front of the hotel with its bar / restaurant was itself an attraction: clean, with comfortable furniture and good service. This is my third year coming to this hotel. Everything is extremely clean, tidy, the staff is friendly and professional. Special thanks to receptionist Leona who, after we arrived tired, asked the staff in the kitchen to give us dinner even though it was the end of business hours. Every night there was an entertainment program by the pool, we got towels on the beach, the beach is beautiful. When arriving or leaving the hotel, staff bring a car from the garage. I would recommend the hotel.

We stayed in the apartment for almost 2 weeks and the space was comfortable and big enough for a couple for a long stay. The location is excellent with the property right next to the North entrance of the old walled city. There is a shopping mall, Kotor beach and strand right outside the city entrance. It’s a 7 minute walk to the beach while being inside the old city. Great atmosphere overall, we felt really at home here. You have all amenities you need for a long stay, simple but adequately equipped kitchen, AC (HUGE plus), very large and comfy bed, good size bathroom, fast internet, separate sitting and dining area etc. In addition, Rara is a great host and helped us feel comfortable and safe during our entire stay. We will definitely be back!

Location is amazing, right in the heart of Tivat, all bars, restaurants and shops are simply next to. Parking area provided for free, which is a great value in the center of Tivat. Great location close to the water, and easy walk to the old town. Handsome modern building. We especially enjoyed the tasty breakfast on the terrace, looking at the passers-by and the sea. The apartment is situated right on the bay! Gorgeous view from the terrace! It's so comfortable, clean and nice, very well equipped, perfect for a vacation! I had every breakfast outside on the terrace looking at the bay! Couldn't ask for anything better or more relaxing! Quiet, cute place and easy to get to anywhere. The ferry itself is not disturbing, it has it's own atmosphere watching people come and go on the ferry. The host and his family is absolutely wonderful!!! The grandma was always there downstairs smiling and greeting us. They were welcoming, made us feel at home helping if we needed anything! I surely wish to return there!

The staff and the owner is awesome. The location is good just 10-15 mins walk to the places that you would want to go and when you come back to your room you can sleep in a quite place. Great location right in the old town. Very friendly staff and a really nice room and a lovely bathroom. We had two separate beds which were very comfortable. We had a balcony that overlooked the old town, so at night we would sit on the balcony, drink our tea and listen to live music from restaurants. Also a big plus for us is that they met our wishes for vegan options at breakfast very well. We had the best breakfast with lots of different options!

So hospitable hosts, we're so glad to stay here. That's especially important when you arrive to the property from airport tired. Host helped us even when we checked out and returned to them later asking to help to sort out buses schedule some other questions. We didn't know where to go and they just kindly helped us. Very pleasant hosts. Highly recommended. Quiet backyard with shallow pool and it's great to spend there time during the most hot time.

Very worthy !!! We got on a special offer for June - the hotel has just opened. More precisely, this is not a hotel in the literal sense, but several identical villas and an administrative building with a reception, a restaurant and a bar. The villa is very spacious. On the ground floor there is a large kitchen-dining room, living room, bedroom, guest bathroom, on the second floor there are two bedrooms and a living room. The bedrooms are very comfortable - each bathroom has a separate dressing room with a huge wardrobe. Classic style furniture - everything is new. The beds are large, the mattresses seem to be orthopedic. On each floor in the living room there is a huge TV with an unmeasured number of channels. Everything is done solidly - everywhere there is stone, terracotta. I was impressed by the spiral staircase to the second floor. Each has its own plot with trees, bushes, flowers, its own parking for 2 cars, its own small pool with sun loungers and umbrellas. We were only a couple of days, but we changed linen, towels for the house and sun loungers. We refused to change the dressing gowns. From the service - they are taken by minibus to the beach of your choice. We went once, the next day we just relaxed by the pool. Wi-Fi is normal, video calls were made to Russia. The restaurant - I liked it - tasty, low-fat. Definitely better than on the coast. The price tag is average.

Location is great as well, close to everything but not in the crazy busy area, short walk to the old town and to all different beaches, easy to get the boat to Hawaii. It is a super modern hotel in the center of the old town. You only need to walk out of the hotel and you're on the central square already. The breakfast was awesome: it's a swedish table with a lot of delicious dishes and meal on any choice. The personnel was kind and friendly. Cleaning service visits your room every day. I gave some of my clothes to the laundry and received them in a clean and fresh state without any spots that had been on them before it (although I hadn't hoped that they could be removed). I was so impressed with my stay in Kotor so that I prolonged it to one another night. For those of you who haven't decided yet I advise to stay in Kotor for a little longer time (for sure you won't get bored if you choose to stay here for 2-3 days).

We stayed here for our honeymoon and the staff were all so welcoming, going out of their way to make it special for us. We even had a private dining experience with a special tasting menu on their beautiful old balcony, overlooking the square below. We had a suite and it was so spacious, the bed was huge and really comfortable. Considering this place is right in the centre of the old town, we thought it was the best value for money of all the places we stayed at. Huge thank you to all of the team!

Everything in this hotel was just amazing – room (suet with panoramic see view, verry big terrace and jacuzzi on it), cleaning the room, food and staff. We’ve never see so attentive and smiling staff (in any other 5* hotel). In each step of all stay we’ve felt welcome. Hotel situation is most beautiful place in Montenegro in my opinion (we were second time in Montenegro and travelled a lot by car). I wish for hotel management and staff to keep such high level of quality.

It is possible that this apartment has the loveliest hosts in all of Montenegro! They were kind, helpful, and ready to answer our every question, with excellent English! The apartment also offered a detailed sheet of facilities in the area (shops, beaches, etc.) as well as a list of the apartment rules (including tourist registration!). Having these in other apartments during our travels in the Balkans would have been a great help, and it's really good that the hosts in Okuka thought about it! Otherwise, the apartment is overlooking the main road to Tivat that goes around the peninsula (you know, the one that is either 1 lane or 2 lanes every 100 meters ;) ), but it is further up the hill, so you would not hear the traffic much. Tivat is 5 minutes by car, the ferry is 1 minute on foot, and you could even find a pretty good beach in 10 minutes walking distance. The apartment is located on the side of the hill, so you cannot get there by car - you would have to park on the shore, and walk up about 100 steps to the apartments. But this is a small price to pay for the view! As you may expect, the apartments are not huge (in fact, they only include a bedroom shared with a small kitchenette, a bathroom with toilet, and a balcony with a fantastic view of the bay / ferry / hills.) But the bed is comfy, you can wake up with the view of the sea outside your window, and (I learned to highlight this about Montenegro) excellent hot water pressure. ;) The kitchen is functional, you can cook if you want, and you have your own fridge, too. There is air conditioning, and a flat TV (that we did not try, actually). Overall, I can only recommend apartment Okuka for a shorter stay or if you don't mind the small (but excellent) room. It is a great place and a great value for money, and the hosts are really the best!
