Very friendly staff, a warm welcome awaits you when you arrive at the hostel. Staff knows Berlin very well and they introduced us the most important tourist attraction points that we should visit during our stay. Hostel is very close to most of the tourist attraction points (30 minutes to Brandenburg Gate on foot) and 3 minutes to U-bahn. Transportation is not a problem if you stay here. Rooms are clean and warm. Probably the most comfortable rooms you can find in Berlin if you are staying at a hostel.

A totally unique experience for those with a sense of fun and you really can't beat it for location. The staff were super friendly, I know Berlin so didn't need much help but they'd have been happy to help if I had, and were more than willing to chat and make sure I had everything I needed.

Eastern & Western Comfort Hotelboat

Moored on the River Spree in the heart of Berlin, 2 boats make up this charming hostel. Eastern & Western Comfort Hostelboat sits amid the vibrant Friedrichshain and Kreuzberg districts, just 11 m from the remains of the Berlin Wall. The Eastern Comfort Hostel Boat features cozy cabin rooms with their own bathrooms and a spacious deck area with great views of the Oberbaum Bridge. The Western Comfort Hostel Boat features budget cabins with shared bathrooms. It features a roof terrace, a part of which is reserved for guests sleeping in tents. Bed linen and towels are provided for all guests. (Guests must make the beds themselves). Guests can enjoy a drink on the Floating Lounge's deck in the summer, or next to the fireplace in winter. Central heating allows guests to stay on board all around the year. The main reception, breakfast room and lounge are located on the Eastern Comfort boat. A rich breakfast buffet is provided daily for an additional fee. There is also a language party every Wednesday, which is free for hostel guests.
