- friendly hostess (Depie), who was always in contact with us before, during and after our stay, she recommended lots of great tips for restaurants and activities around Methoni - very high quality and new villa with private pool - As a welcome gift there was a bottle of Greek wine, homemade olive oil and paste from their own olives around the villa - beautiful view of the bay and the fortress of Methoni (we enjoyed the sunset every evening from the terrace on the 1st floor) - There are many great activities to do around Methoni (Pylos and Koroni (nice restaurants, taverns, castle, beaches), our highlight was the Voidoilia Bay (especially the view from the fortress) - We really enjoyed the days at Kalypso Residence

This one was better than advertised. We got lucky and got the deluxe room upgrade at the reception desk upon arrival. Very clean hotel and great service. Tasty breakfast. Very professional staff and beyound adequate COVID19 protection procedures in place. This hotel is well above it’s 3* rating and better than quite a few 4* hotels we’ve stayed in across the world.
