Exceptional stay at an exceptional hotel. Faultless. Wonderful friendly staff, gorgeous room and the MOST incredible view. Food was delicious, truly wonderful. We 90% of our meals at the hotel because the food was so good. This is an amazing place to stay if you don't want to be surrounded by tourists, it's nice and quiet - a short distance from old town.

For me, any review should focus on two sides - the tangible things about a hotel, and then intangibles. So, this hotel has a great location in the Old Town, close to tons of restaurants, shops and the beach. The rooms are huge (at least mine was), and the facilities are very clean and comfortable. The intangibles — primarily the staff — are even better. They are the best thing about this excellent hotel. If you’re looking for a place to stay in Rethymno, and want great service, location, facilities and prices, go no further.

Excellent stay with friendly and easy check in. Only a few meters away from the center, just far enough from the noise of the city. Menta is offering a unique experience for couples and not only for a weekend gateway. Fantastic patio view from the roof garden and delicious Cretan buffet breakfast. The rooms were clean and everyone kept the protocols from the Covid-19. To sum up: You want to try something different in affordable price? With comfy bed and fluffy towels? The room was very clean and the bed was super comfortable. The service was very nice and helpful. The breakfasts were very good, served in a breakfast basket for security reasons due to covid-19. In particular, we really enjoyed the delicious local Greek yogurt with honey and muesli. It didn't bother us, but it is worth notice that it was practically the same every day, so if you like meat and rather continental breakfasts, you may not be satisfied.

Lovely place to stay. Very stylish. The standard is really high. The staff was really nice and friendly. The room was spacious, with a balcony and a big bathroom. Very comfortable. Location is perfect, just a few steps to the restaurants, shops and historical areas, yet still very quiet. I strongly recommend staying in this hotel.
