Hotel is beautifully decorated in Venetian style and is literally about 150 feet from Piazza San Marco. Our room was large with plenty of closet space and the bathroom was also generously sized. Breakfast is served in an elegant ballroom with a splendid painted ceiling. One can arrive by water taxi at the main entrance. Staff are friendly without being fawning and the concierge is most helpful. The restaurant is superb - we had dinner there every night by choice - with outdoor seating in good weather.

The hotel is located in a historic palazzo, but it's not on the Grand Canal and slightly off the beaten track, so it was quiet and relaxed. The furnishings are lovely and our room was spectacular.

I cannot put into words how outstanding this hotel is! It is a true 5 star hotel in every way. The staff is INCREDIBLE! They are genuine, accommodating, and truly care about connecting with you. The close location to the train station and being right on the canal is perfect. The rooms are gorgeous and pristine. The chef is magnificent, and he went out of his was to prepare food for my daughter who suffers from many food allergies. This is easily one of the best hotels I’ve ever stayed in, and I travel a lot. Grazie for an unforgettable stay!

I got to say that this hotel is one of the best hotels I stayed in. The staff were very welcoming from our entrance and during our whole stay. Hotel location was easy to get to using water taxi, as the hotel have an entrance into the water canal. Rooms were very stylish and comfortable beds, and nice room amenities. Staff gave us tips to tour Venice, and recommended restaurants to visit, and also made a reservation for us.

The hotels location was just exceptional, room amazing…. mamamia! I want to thanks the all staff, each single one, I insist each single one. A very special thanks to the Hotel restaurant, particularly the Sommelier, he was incredible. Very high level of food/wine went beyond our expectation, I still see the exceptional meat 10/10 and this unique Italian wine 🥰 (believe me…a French loving usually only “Bordeaux…” and saying this count double ☺️). The Hotel Danieli is a leaving myth, I can’t say less, «James B. » would agree I’m sure. I promise, I’ll come back with a very nice smoking…I’m so impatient. Thank you Federica for the warm welcome at the reception and also the lovely introduction and assistance to the room. Love the fact that the water taxi can be docked right outside the hotel lobby and help was rendered with our luggages. Breakfast was great! Service throughout our stay was kept consistently awesome! Location of the hotel was near perfection! San marco Sq is 3 min away and the doges palace is right beside.
