The service from the door when you arrive, to reception, the maid service, the butler, the restaurant and bar staff and the group at the desk and the GM were all at the top of the hospitality chain. I travel only first class and 5 star. This place supersedes that. The ambiance of this boutique marvel is breathtaking. Handling any type of request was taken care of masterfully. One time I asked them to contact a restaurant and advise them that I would be late. They couldn’t get through so they sent a butler who ran over and let the restaurant know that we would be late. Are you kidding me. They are also extremely proactive and offer you things like Radar from the show M*A*S*H ( if you’re not familiar, he was a character who always knew what his boss wanted before even being asked)

Location is great. Near city center and close to all main attraction locations (museums, shopping, restaurants, sightseeing, etc.). Yet very quiet. Breakfast is tasty, good variety for vegetarians and non-vegetarians. Coffee is very tasty. Service is great. Room is not large, but cozy and with good views (we got room on the 4th floor, not looking at the canal, but still with good views)

Lovely staff and fashionable room with canal view. Breakfast is good, we have rich buffet and we can also choose one course of the breakfast menu, such as porridge with whole/skimmed/coconut/almond/soya milk, eggs cooked in various ways, quinoa bowl etc. The location is very good, 5min walk to the tram station(line 2&12), it's not in the city centre, but very close and very quiet. There is a private garage, the staff will help you to park the car and bring the car to the outside when you need. Price is 65€/day. A small garden inside, good for taking photos. Very recommended hotel in Amsterdam.

Location is perfect, central and the view from the hotel stunning, as it overlooks the water on a large canal. The hotel was renovated and has a gorgeous mix of Old Europe furnishings, mid-century modern and luscious materials. Every detail has been precisely designed by their interior decorators and the pictures do not do it justice. I am a big fan of interior decorating and this place has it all. The hotel is huge and you have many rooms and reception halls along the canal to sit for afternoon tea, play chess or simply gaze out on the ever changing mood on the canal. In-house restaurant Marie is lovely and has a terrasse on the water...Bar is cozy and has a great piano man on the weekends. Finally the staff is very friendly and helpful. Our last stay was that at the Belmond Nelson in Capetown, for those of you who may know it, and this place is as formidable an experience...

Rooms are small, but what I would expect in the center of the city. The cleanliness and charm of the old building and the finely finished decor more than made up for it. Concierge and front desk were truly professional and extremely helpful with all of our needs: local hair salon, retrieving lost baggage from airport, suggestions for morning run, directions to everything and anything.

Clean , very friendly staff , amazing location just in middle of center , comfortable room .. I requested to change room immediately they respond and changed it for me.. They were so cooperative with my check out time … Really it’s the perfect option if u want to go to Amsterdam as it’s not my first time to book this hotel and will not be my last ..
