This a brand new hotel, it opened just a few months ago.Very clean and comfy rooms and awesome swimingpool. The place is managed by a French/Sri Lanka couple. We had very good contact with the French lady who manages the hotel. Helped us with everything, good tips for trips, got the feeling that you visit friends. Absolutely the best place in the beach area of Trincomalee.

First of all, if you are unsure if this is the right place for you, stop and book now!!! Even if you are not staying at this hotel, go to this restaurant!!! Let's start from the beginning. This is a tiny resort located right on the beach. You see the Ocean from your bungalow (ca. 50 metres from the room door to the beach). The place is very good for swimming (we stayed in September, water was rather flat). The restaurant is located directly on the beach, with easy access, so you can eat and watch the Ocean. Even with few guests, the restaurant was open every day until late evening and serving fantastic food - this was the best food we ate in Sri Lanka during our over-two-week stay! The restaurant prices were also reasonable. The rooms were quitr basic, but spacious, clean and equipped with mosquito nets and A/C. Our host, Briya, spoke perfect English, which was very nice. Her kitchen is amazing and we really recomend it! It is THE perfect place for relaxing on the beach!

I was almost in Trincomalee when I had to book Hilton Cottage since the hotel room which I had booked wasn't available. Fortunately my booking was comfortable & easy at Hilton Cottage. I went to the place right after I booked it and the room was ready which I must say. We were given a spacious room with a Double bed a single bed both. You will find the most cleaned bathroom in here. Place was very easy to find and plenty of restaurants are in the neighborhood. There was no kettle in room and that was not a problem because they supplied hot water whenever we asked. We loved the place. It was a comfortable and a lovely stay 💕

The surrounding was greeny, clean and calm with excellent care and service from the owner and the helper lady. Much closer to the beach, offer nice tea, pretty much clean, etc. .

The Bluewater Beach Resort gave us relaxing stay in Trinco. The resort was clean, the staff was friendly and helpful and the location was close to the beach. We also really enjoyed the pool area which we could even use after checkout. It’s hard to find anything in Sri Lanka that offers so much for such a little price.

Excellent value for money. Great location right by the beach. The property was very comfortable and very clean. The owner was very helpful and we were able to rent a scooter for the day for a very good price. He also helped us arrange transport for our next destination. Would definitely recommend

We stayed three nights and just did not want to leave. Incredibly friendly staff that did everything to make our stay perfect. Our highlight was the freshly prepared food, available for order at any time of the day. Everything is made upon order and simply delicious, served by more than friendly staff. We had a really great time at Palmera Eco Resort and would love to come back right away.
