Interesting review:
The room was spacious, clean and comfortable with kettle and good functioning ac. As well as a safe. The hotel is located a few Minutes walk from the south end of Unawatuna beach, where you can also find a cluster of restaurants a few more minutes walk up the beach. The hotel is also quiet because it’s not located on a busy road like so many hotels are in the area. The staff were extremely helpful and thoughtful. Special thanks to Ronald, Don Mahesh and Ivon whom all were very helpful and took great care that my needs were looked after.

Amazing property with beautiful views, Horizon is hidden in the hills a short walk from the beach. The staff at Horizon went above and beyond our expectations making our stay very special. We especially enjoyed their banana pancakes and having a sunset beer by the pond.

We are happy to spend a whole month in this place. This is a small well-equipped apartment. Nice bathroom. Nice big bed. Good internet. All you need to relax after traveling and beaches. Very nice landlord. We felt friendship with the hotel manager, Prasanna. Nearby is the excellent Hot Rock Cafe. Thanks for all.

The location of the accommodation is perfect. A quiet place full of nature wherever you look. Very close to the main street. Very spacious and clean room, it has the basic things that you need. The bed was very comfortable. We had to work during our stay and the wifi worked very well The employees are lovely, very nice and, if you need anything, they help you without problem. The breakfasts are very good and it have a good quantity. A fully recommended accommodation to spend a few days or a long season in Unawatuna.

Staff was extremely helpful and very friendly. Room was spacious and comfortable, with balcony/terrace and beautiful view on the Indian ocean. The best for me was to listen to the natural ocean sound while sleeping. Another positive was location, it was excellent, a bit away from the Unawatuna street busy with restaurants, cafes and beach bars/ parties but close enough by tuk tuk (3km) to enjoy if wanted. Overall, highly recommended.

Great location, 1 minute walk from the beach. It is at the quieter end of the beach so you get a good night’s sleep. Staff could not be friendlier or more accommodating. Room was spotless and comfortable. Happy to recommend and happy to stay again. All excursions booked through hotel were slightly cheaper than outside prices and service matched the standard of the hotel.

Agnus unawatuna is by far the best hotel we’ve stayed in sri lanka. The price you pay for it is totally worth it and even less than what you would normally pay for the luxuries it offers. The rooms are big and beautiful, the service is amazing and the views are spectacular. It has an infinity pool on top of the roof that offers what must be the most amazing views of all sri lanka. The food was amazing as well and I asure you it is worth every cent. I recommend it without any doubt.
