From the moment we arrived we were greeted by Nicole, manager, hostess, the main lady! She was so warm and vibrant! The resort was what we were seeking for an island retreat, the villas were so unique and gave the island retreat vibe. From the sound of the ocean outside the villa to the chill lax atmosphere in the restaurant area, the Baladian exceeded our expectations on what you want for a beach holiday. Nicole took the time to show us throughout the villa herself, which is rare from hotel staff. The resort staff were always friendly and smiling, this is something we did not find often during our stay in Zanzibar. We loved the whole experience, layout, and environment at the Baladian. I forgot to mention all of the cozy beach chairs and beds along with with ambient lighting made this beyond wonderful. This is how a beach resort is supposed to be. Thank you Nicole, thank you Baladian staff 🙏🏻. Do yourself a favor, stay more nights at the Baladian than other resorts. The beach is whiter, cleaner, and quieter. If you want to do excursions, they have you covered.

One of the best hotels in Zanzibar! It was so nice to spend one week here! The Staff was friendly, but it is a usual thing for all the locals to have a smile on their face all the time. It is a huge area with the biggest swimming pool in Zanzibar. The resort is full of plants, so everything is green and full of energy, but at the same time, so relaxing. Jambiani is perfect for those who want to spend the holiday in a really silent place. If you want to go to party every night, then choose Paje. The breakfast was 100% exotic, full of juicy fruits + crepes, omelette, natural juices, salads... For us it was enough to have a fresh start in the morning. You’ll not be disappointed.

The queen seaview suites were unbelievably perfect. Clean, well maintained, private, very nicely decorated. Options for activities were great. The snorkeling we did with the dive centre was great. Loved the convenience of not having to pay each time we eat or drink. The staff were the real super stars. They were so kind, seemed to enjoy their jobs, eachother and the guests. The sea views were truly unbelievable. The beach (a short distance away via several transportation options) was perfect, clean and private.

I could talk for hours about ...If you're looking for a safety amazing Paradise during a pandemic , I strongly recommend ''The Level " experience : social distance , staff wearing masks , hand sanitizer smelling divine, b.t.w. Besides all this , the food was a blast of different tastes every day , the " Level" staff is impeccable, nice, attentive, empathetic . 10 Days in a row I chose Eggs Benedict for Breakfast , with salmon for me & ham for my husband <3 . Don't hesitate anymore , just go ... the infinity pool , the whitest sand on the beach, a lot of good and beautiful people are waiting to treat you like Royalty .

Me and my familiy spent 7 wonderful days at this hotel. We would like to thank all the employees for their work. Everiything was superlative. The restaurant has an excellent positieon, very close to the sea and fixed next to the pool, the diversified and very tasty food, the very attentive staff and the helpful ones. We thank Zuchu Sukari for the way he took care of us. I was deeply impressed that every night they passed by to prepare the room before bed. The water of the private pool was very clean, the rooms very spacious and in this way we thank the people who took care of the cleaning in villa 219. The hotel pool was large and gradually entered, and the monkeys present always made a show. My girl was the most excited. We were able to go on a few trips there.

You feel really important in the way staff take care of you. The manager is extremely attentive and was really nice to talk with him. The place is then super well taken care of; the room is very big and you even have a small private pool. The beach in front is beautiful, breakfast delicious and we even got a free massage. We wish we would have stay more, I really recommend this place.

Location of the Hotel is essential! It has it's own beach, with comfortable and all day acces to the ocean, without any dependence on high and low tide!!! Rooms are amazing 👏, clean, comfortable and well designed. Hotel has 3 restaurants, that are providing enough variety of cousins to enjoy every meal during your stay! And last but definitely not the least, staff is amazing, always smiling and positive 😊, a true "Hakuna Matata"!
