We stayed in Kisiwa for 5 days and it was the best part of our holiday. It’s a very well maintained beautiful 4* hotel with extremely professional and friendly staff. The rooms are spacious and clean. The food is great and has a lot of variety. The pool area is very nice and comfortable with beautiful views to the beach. The beach is clean and one of the best in this area. There are several kite places at the beach very close to the hotel so it’s perfect for kitesurfing also. We cannot recommend this place enough, we truly loved our stay and we will be back! Thank you Jerry, Salome and others!

Very high standard, hotel is looking very original, well designed and comfortable rooms. Maria - manager of clove island help us to organize trip to Stone Town. It was gorgeous. At hotel you can also rent a bike or scooter, and go for some incredible cruise around Makunduchi. If you looking for a safe, quiet place with absolutely beautyful views, you should visit this paradise. Aditional plus for very good meals at restaurant, realy tasty and not so expensive.

Everything! The gardens are amazing. Excellent swimming pool with breathtaking views of the ocean. The beach is just a few stairs down which is even better in my opinion because you dont have to worry about the beach boys they cant come up. There are guards everywhere. The beach is the best in Zanzibar. Food is really good. Cocktails also. Everything is very clean and the bed is sooo comfortable. The staff is really friendly. We also want to thank Dijana from our country Croatia! Asante sana!

I loved everything! The staff is super cool, sweet and nice and always go the extra mile. The music was always nice and never too loud They constantly make an effort to keep everything clean. Decoration if food was outstanding! I am happy to come back.

The food was probably the best food I’ve had on holiday to date. The staff were friendly, always smiling and never missed a chance to great and check if everything is still alright. The boat cruise staff were delightful and made the trips nice and entertaining. There’s a lot of fish you can spot from the jetty which was cool. The cocktails will be missed as they never disappointed thanks to the cocktail bar man ! The live entertainment was nice as well. All in all, it was a lovely stay and a great way to end off the holiday.

From the moment we arrived we were greeted by Nicole, manager, hostess, the main lady! She was so warm and vibrant! The resort was what we were seeking for an island retreat, the villas were so unique and gave the island retreat vibe. From the sound of the ocean outside the villa to the chill lax atmosphere in the restaurant area, the Baladian exceeded our expectations on what you want for a beach holiday. Nicole took the time to show us throughout the villa herself, which is rare from hotel staff. The resort staff were always friendly and smiling, this is something we did not find often during our stay in Zanzibar. We loved the whole experience, layout, and environment at the Baladian. I forgot to mention all of the cozy beach chairs and beds along with with ambient lighting made this beyond wonderful. This is how a beach resort is supposed to be. Thank you Nicole, thank you Baladian staff 🙏🏻. Do yourself a favor, stay more nights at the Baladian than other resorts. The beach is whiter, cleaner, and quieter. If you want to do excursions, they have you covered.

The location is perfect! The hotel has its own private beach that is still untouched. Beautiful both in low and high tide. The staff are just amazing and take care of every single detail from the second you reach the hotel until you leave it, they make you feel at home and wouldn’t let you leave the hotel without being completely satisfied. If you need some relaxation time away from everything I would highly recommend it.

Location of the Hotel is essential! It has it's own beach, with comfortable and all day acces to the ocean, without any dependence on high and low tide!!! Rooms are amazing 👏, clean, comfortable and well designed. Hotel has 3 restaurants, that are providing enough variety of cousins to enjoy every meal during your stay! And last but definitely not the least, staff is amazing, always smiling and positive 😊, a true "Hakuna Matata"!

One of the best hotels in Zanzibar! It was so nice to spend one week here! The Staff was friendly, but it is a usual thing for all the locals to have a smile on their face all the time. It is a huge area with the biggest swimming pool in Zanzibar. The resort is full of plants, so everything is green and full of energy, but at the same time, so relaxing. Jambiani is perfect for those who want to spend the holiday in a really silent place. If you want to go to party every night, then choose Paje. The breakfast was 100% exotic, full of juicy fruits + crepes, omelette, natural juices, salads... For us it was enough to have a fresh start in the morning. You’ll not be disappointed.
