Excellent location, on foot (if you are a fan of long walks) you can reach the walk of fame and the famous kodak cinema (now dolby), in the other direction - rodeo drive. Great reception staff, organizing free themed evenings with beer and pizza, good breakfast: toast, Philadelphia, jams, nutella, peanut butter, oatmeal, muffins, coffee, tea. Cool outdoor terrace where you can have breakfast all year round. Free covered parking (~ 15-20 cars), we were at the end of December, there were always free places. The hostel is quiet and safe. The main door is always closed, the entrance is strictly with a password issued at the reception. An excellent combination of price and quality. We definitely recommend it!

There’s a couple of things I liked about this location. I’ve stayed here for three weeks so this is my evaluation for future guests. 1) It’s accessible to the Metro Gold Line to go to the Hollywood area or Downtown. 2) Right next to Little Tokyo and the Downtown Tokyo district for convenience store trips or hangout spots for certain occasions. 3) This property is cleaned on the daily and you’re able to meet people as they came and went throughout your stay. 4) You have an oven, microwave, fridge for all of your storing and cooking needs 24/7. 5) They have a downstairs lounge area if you wanted your own space, wanted to study, or hangout with people that were living in this property.
