It was extremely clean with fresh towels provided every day. The complimentary basic breakfast was perfectly adequate and you could take it back to the room, or beside the pool, which was very convenient. Beds and pillows very comfy. I loved coming back to our room after a full day out. Fridge and microwave oven were very welcome additions.

Very friendly staff. The room was super clean and smelled good. I stayed in other motels around California at a similar price that were awful. I was pleasantly surprised at the high quality of this motel for the price. The neighborhood was better than expected as well. Off the beaten path but a good area with good restaurants and very walkable. It's also very close to the beach. You can walk there in 15 min or drive in about 2min. Parking at the nearest beach is only $1 per hour which was also a nice surprise.
